Why do we fight change?

Change —
So many changes going on in life, and this world. I watch the world change, people change, friends, family, loved ones always changing. If change is so common, why do we, as a people, always fight it so desperately?
We try to control, manipulate, work things into a position that makes us comfortable, and with the least amount of change. People literally go insane, from change.
Looking out at this world, I have learned that we must rest in change. Whether its a mate, a job, a move, a death, an illness…. Whatever the change is, rest there. Free your mind because the controlling of it, will never happen. Rest there. Meditate there. Stay still there.
Then when you begin to move, step softly, walk gently through the door. Peacefully. Leave the chaos there, at the resting spot and move.
Buddha says, “Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything – anger, anxiety, or possessions – we cannot be free.”
My friends, do not be anxious in anything. You are where you should be so when the challenges and changes in life occur, “Rest in life’s changes, and walk peacefully through the new door.”
Namaste,

A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment.
I believe that you ought to publish more on this topic, it may not
be a taboo matter but typically people don’t speak about such subjects.
