“Every problem introduces a person to himself” – John McDonnell
How we show up during stress, reveals our emotional maturity. One thing I have always had a hard time at is losing people, friends, family, due to so many losses from death, nearly every year, starting at 8 yrs old. The worst of those, my parents, passing before their 50’s. The loss of people, or other things in my life has held me back.
Don’t let that be you! In business, and friendship, and life, people will come and go. It’s a constant we can be sure of. So as you grow allow that change to happen, some relationships will go to a new level, some will be constant, some will be lost.
We all have that thing we need to let go of, to grow into the emotional maturity that will see us with less stress, and a longer life. What is yours?
The other day I told my friend, “I am learning to drift through the stressful moments with ease.” What a relief it is to let go. Change is constant, life and people are ever changing.
When we grow we change. JCM says, change doesn’t mean growth, but growth always means change. My friends choose growth!
Let go of all the stresses of your life. Today is the present moment, that is here for your blessing. What will you do in THIS moment, that is the question. Be free to allow the blessings flow as the stress presents itself and you grow. This flow of life will bring everything into clarity, and there you will find pure joy, pure peace. If this helps just one person reading, that is enough.
Be great, Be free. ~Dee
